Summer Internship

A LISC Internship is an exciting, education and challenging experience. Interns must be 13 years of age or entering 7th grade.

An internship is "supervised practical training". As an intern, you take on many of the responsibilities of an employee. You will lean how to: assist visiting families, prepare for programs, demonstrate the exhibits, help in the gift shop and use the register. As a group, you will create a new exhibit for our museum.

If you enjoy science research, if you are creative and have an eye for design, if you feel you can share your ideas with others then this may be the program for you. There is no cost, however, you must fill out an application and tell us why you would make a great intern.
